This 1880s French jet appliqué is utterly striking. A large spider-like bug sits upon an ornate leaf. This sparkling Victorian-era delight is attached to a piece of velvet but could certainly be removed and added to an elegant dress or anything your imagination can dream up!
The entire piece is in shockingly good condition for its 140ish years, the only exception being that the insect needs to be resecured to its leaf. (It's a very easy fix and I'd have done it myself but can't quite operate a needle and thread without discomfort yet after a finger operation.)
The appliqué itself measures 6.5 × 5.75 inches.

How long will it take for my package to arrive?
Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days. If for some reason the delay will be longer, you will be informed. Once it's on its way, it normally takes 3 to 15 business days to arrive, depending on your location.
How is the cost of shipping determined?
The price of shipping in France is determined by the weight and thickness of the package. The heavier it is, the more it costs. If the package is under 3 centimetres it can be considered a "letter" and will be cheaper, but if it's over 4 centimetres it will be considered a package and cost more. I do my very best to stay under 3 cm and keep your shipping cost down but it is not always possible. (I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the percentage of the fees taken by the payment system. I do not take a profit from the shipping cost.)
