Straight from the wardrobe of the Mistress of Beautiful Things, Adèle Mildred, this absolutely breathtaking lace tea gown dates to c. 1911/1912.

This elegant piece of fashion history is made of crepe silk and crocheted lace and has 40 velvet covered buttons from the New York button machine company Defiance. This last detail leads me to believe that the gown is American made.

While she is utterly magnificent, she is still 110 years old and it shows. She has many flaws and is of course delicate. The lace on the bodice has already been worn and repaired and there are several tiny stains. She could still be worn very carefully for special events, but as with any garment like this, you wear it at your own risk.

Circumference measurements are:

Shoulders up to 43 cm
Armpit to armpit up to 90 cm
Bust up to 86 cm
Waist up to 70 cm
Length 140 cm

Shipping

How long will it take for my package to arrive?

Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days. If for some reason the delay will be longer, you will be informed. Once it's on its way, it normally takes 3 to 15 business days to arrive, depending on your location.

How is the cost of shipping determined?

The price of shipping in France is determined by the weight and thickness of the package. The heavier it is, the more it costs. If the package is under 3 centimetres it can be considered a "letter" and will be cheaper, but if it's over 4 centimetres it will be considered a package and cost more. I do my very best to stay under 3 cm and keep your shipping cost down but it is not always possible. (I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the percentage of the fees taken by the payment system. I do not take a profit from the shipping cost.)

Will I receive a tracking number?

Every package will come with a tracking number.

How can I see where my package is?

You can enter your tracking number on this site and it will show the status of your package.
