This 1950s deadstock slip is simply divine! A glowing peachy pink, it features graceful pleats on the bust as well as the skirt, and a delicate lace trim throughout.

This blushing beauty comes in its original box, which is as gorgeous as the slip itself. The painting depicts an elegant lady in the foreground looking towards Place Vendôme in Paris. This glamorously packaged garment is from Gui, which was a lingerie shop in a gorgeous Art Déco building in Paris that sold many different brands.

The color they assigned to the slip is "renaissance aubepine", which would mean hawthorn renaissance. That is quite a romantic color name! In effect, the color proved a little tricky to properly photograph. The photos you see were taken in various light conditions so that you could best see how it changes from pinky to peachy.

It's in an absolutely pristine, unworn state, but there are a handful of tiny spots near the label (see photo 14) that I think appeared thanks to sitting in a box for decades. They are completely invisible when its being worn, but I have to mention them or I wouldn't feel right!

It is marked as a French size 42, and is a modern larger Small to a smaller Medium depending on your particular morphology. Check the measurements and don't hesitate if you have any questions!

Shipping

How long will it take for my package to arrive?

Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days. If for some reason the delay will be longer, you will be informed. Once it's on its way, it normally takes 3 to 15 business days to arrive, depending on your location.

How is the cost of shipping determined?

The price of shipping in France is determined by the weight and thickness of the package. The heavier it is, the more it costs. If the package is under 3 centimetres it can be considered a "letter" and will be cheaper, but if it's over 4 centimetres it will be considered a package and cost more. I do my very best to stay under 3 cm and keep your shipping cost down but it is not always possible. (I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the percentage of the fees taken by the payment system. I do not take a profit from the shipping cost.)

Will I receive a tracking number?

Every package will come with a tracking number.

How can I see where my package is?

You can enter your tracking number on this site and it will show the status of your package.
