This ultra sumptuous Pierre Cardin cape is mid to late '60s and is in *pristine* condition.

It may look like a plain black cape but it is one of those secret luxury pieces that you can only understand when you see it in person, feel it and wear it.

It's a medium weight, so good for mid-season or cold season if you layer. There's no composition label but I think it's a wool/cotton blend. It has a satiny lining and an inside pocket (shown with something in it so you can see it more clearly). It has openings for your hands and you can even use them to wear a belt with it if you want. The front closes up with 5 buttons in their beautiful bound buttonholes, which is always a sign of thoughtful tailoring (photo 7).

It possesses the black Pierre Cardin label done in gold thread as well as a made in France label.

It's a true black inside and out. If any of the photos look otherwise it's because they've been altered so you can see the details.

There's no size label but I'd say it's more or less one-size-fits-all unless you have a very tiny frame.

See the circumference measurements below as well as the flat measurements in the last photo. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

Shoulders: up to 17 in / 43 cm (mine are 14 in / 35 cm so you can see how it fits me)

Bust/upper arms area: up to 52 in / 132 cm

Waist and hips: up to 62 in / 157 cm

Length: 39 in / 100 cm (I'm 5'3" / 1m60)

(The 1970s Lanvin skirt in the photos is also available but nothing else in the photos is for sale.)

Shipping

How long will it take for my package to arrive?

Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days. If for some reason the delay will be longer, you will be informed. Once it's on its way, it normally takes 3 to 15 business days to arrive, depending on your location.

How is the cost of shipping determined?

The price of shipping in France is determined by the weight and thickness of the package. The heavier it is, the more it costs. If the package is under 3 centimetres it can be considered a "letter" and will be cheaper, but if it's over 4 centimetres it will be considered a package and cost more. I do my very best to stay under 3 cm and keep your shipping cost down but it is not always possible. (I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the percentage of the fees taken by the payment system. I do not take a profit from the shipping cost.)

Will I receive a tracking number?

Every package will come with a tracking number.

How can I see where my package is?

You can enter your tracking number on this site and it will show the status of your package.
