1969 / 1970 Yves Saint Laurent Blue Mohair Cape - Rare Early Label

This absolutely majestic Saint Laurent Rive Gauche cape is made of vibrant blue mohair - something between a dark azure and a soft cobalt. The label is the one that was used from the late 60s to the early 70s, but I believe this particular cape is from 1969 or 1970 based on the photo of Catherine Deneuve modeling it for YSL in Paris Match October 1970. It's in truly beautiful vintage condition. There are a few itsy bitsy moth holes (last photo is of the worst one), and the interfacing and tacking stitches have come undone on one side but it's interior and doesn't show. (I'm trying to explain this as best I can but message for more details if you don't see what I mean). It measures 105 cm / 41 inches from the shoulder. It says size 38 but there isn't much to give it a strict size range. I can't see why it shouldn't work for pretty much anyone. It closes with a simple hook and eye on the collar. How is the cost of shipping determined?

The price of shipping in France is determined by the weight and thickness of the package. The heavier it is, the more it costs. If the package is under 3 centimetres it can be considered a "letter" and will be cheaper, but if it's over 4 centimetres it will be considered a package and cost more. I do my very best to stay under 3 cm and keep your shipping cost down but it is not always possible. (I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the percentage of the fees taken by the payment system. I do not take a profit from the shipping cost.)
