The term "rare" is thrown around a lot in the vintage world, but believe you me when I say that THIS piece!? ...I don't know anyone who's ever seen one in person before, including myself until I found this. I thought the one single photo of it online looked amazing, but in real life? IT. IS. INCREDIBLE.

This 1970s work of art was made by a mysterious French sculptor who went by the name Georges Mailian. Information about the artist or their creations is so elusive as to be basically non-existent. (If you know anything about it please let me know!) But we do know that the buckles bearing this name are extremely fabulous, beautifully hewn, hard to come by, and highly sought after by those in the know.

Bondage Lady herself is 5.5 x 3.25 inches / 14 x 8.5 cm and fixed to a supple, black leather belt measuring 4 in / 10 cm wide. As the holes on the belt are now, the smallest waist measurement is at 25" and the largest at 35". The buckle is either solid brass or bronze (I can't quite tell the difference 👀) and weighs an impressive 465 grams, or just over a pound!

This glorious beauty is in excellent condition with the exception of some touches of oxidation here and there. I'm sure it could be polished away but I'll leave it to the owner because everyone has different tastes for that.

If have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach out!

Shipping

How long will it take for my package to arrive?

Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days. If for some reason the delay will be longer, you will be informed. Once it's on its way, it normally takes 3 to 15 business days to arrive, depending on your location.

How is the cost of shipping determined?

The price of shipping in France is determined by the weight and thickness of the package. The heavier it is, the more it costs. If the package is under 3 centimetres it can be considered a "letter" and will be cheaper, but if it's over 4 centimetres it will be considered a package and cost more. I do my very best to stay under 3 cm and keep your shipping cost down but it is not always possible. (I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the percentage of the fees taken by the payment system. I do not take a profit from the shipping cost.)

Will I receive a tracking number?

Every package will come with a tracking number.

How can I see where my package is?

You can enter your tracking number on this site and it will show the status of your package.
