1970s Loris Azzaro Pink and Silver Lurex and Chains Top and Purse Set

This rare and fabulous matching top and purse set is from Paris fashion house Loris Azzaro, who was famous for dressing the likes of Tina Turner, Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch, Jane Birkin, etc. 

Having a matching top and purse is quite rare and indeed the purses alone often go for between 250€ and 550€!

Both pieces are in excellent condition with some normal signs of wear. The lurex is a little frayed in some areas (see photo 5) and there are some places where a stitch has been dropped in the knit (photo 6). But neither of these things are noticeable when it's being worn and neither are likely to worsen with proper care. The only flaw in the purse is that the silk lining has makeup stains. I've not tried to remove them because they're not seen therefore not problematic.

The main size restriction is the upper arm circumference as the sleeves have no extra give. The rest of the top is made of a stretchy lurex therefore is much more size-diverse. Please check the measurements and don't hesitate if you have any questions!
