This lovely little shoulder capelet is probably late 1800s to early 1900s and is made of wool pulled through cloth designed to look like Persian lamb or astrakhan.

It is lined in a soft quilted material that I believe to be polished cotton.

It closes in the front with two sets of hooks and eyes, which are not at all rusted (as is often the case with such aged metal hardware).

It is in excellent condition considering its 120-130 years of existence! There are a couple of slightly thin spots but seriously nothing very noticeable when it's being worn. The lining is in perfect condition with the exception of a tiny seam where the thread is a little loose but it's not moving either. (See photos 7, 8 and 9 and please excuse how utterly lousy they are thanks to the complete lack of natural light these days!) It has somewhat of an antique garment odor but nothing so bothersome.

Please see the measurements below as well as photos 5 & 6. Don't hesitate if you have any questions!

Neck circumference: up to 16 in / 42 cm

Shoulders: up to 16 in / 42 cm

Bust area, measured flat: 26 in / 66 cm total width

Length: 12 in / 30 cm

(The dress in the photos is also available but not the accessories.)

Shipping

How long will it take for my package to arrive?

Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days. If for some reason the delay will be longer, you will be informed. Once it's on its way, it normally takes 3 to 15 business days to arrive, depending on your location.

How is the cost of shipping determined?

The price of shipping in France is determined by the weight and thickness of the package. The heavier it is, the more it costs. If the package is under 3 centimetres it can be considered a "letter" and will be cheaper, but if it's over 4 centimetres it will be considered a package and cost more. I do my very best to stay under 3 cm and keep your shipping cost down but it is not always possible. (I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the percentage of the fees taken by the payment system. I do not take a profit from the shipping cost.)

Will I receive a tracking number?

Every package will come with a tracking number.

How can I see where my package is?

You can enter your tracking number on this site and it will show the status of your package.
