Victorian Book Locket with Woven Hair

This lovely little Victorian book-shaped locket is delicately engraved on both sides with a forget-me-not on the front. It opens to reveal finely woven hair hermetically encased under a beveled window.
There are no markings so it is impossible to say exactly where or when it comes from. These pieces were often created in memoriam with the hair of a loved one.
The locket is in excellent condition with the exception of one corner showing signs of wear (bottom right from the front view). It is gold in color but does not test as gold.
Measures 18× 12 × 3 mm excluding the bail.

How long will it take for my package to arrive?
Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days. If for some reason the delay will be longer, you will be informed. Once it's on its way, it normally takes 3 to 15 business days to arrive, depending on your location.
How is the cost of shipping determined?
The price of shipping in France is determined by the weight and thickness of the package. The heavier it is, the more it costs. If the package is under 3 centimetres it can be considered a "letter" and will be cheaper, but if it's over 4 centimetres it will be considered a package and cost more. I do my very best to stay under 3 cm and keep your shipping cost down but it is not always possible. (I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the percentage of the fees taken by the payment system. I do not take a profit from the shipping cost.)
