This magnificent gold-tone dagger brooch has some very beautiful etching and indeed comes out of its sheath! A chain links the two pieces.
It could be from any time between the 1920s and '40s. It's quite hard to say because the trombone clasp is common on French jewelry throughout those three decades. Though in my research it does look closer in style to some 20s/30s pieces of the same scimitar design.
It measures 2.75 in / 7 cm.
It is in excellent condition for its age, still very sturdy and wearable. It has normal signs of wear which can be seen in the photos.

How long will it take for my package to arrive?
Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days. If for some reason the delay will be longer, you will be informed. Once it's on its way, it normally takes 3 to 15 business days to arrive, depending on your location.
How is the cost of shipping determined?
The price of shipping in France is determined by the weight and thickness of the package. The heavier it is, the more it costs. If the package is under 3 centimetres it can be considered a "letter" and will be cheaper, but if it's over 4 centimetres it will be considered a package and cost more. I do my very best to stay under 3 cm and keep your shipping cost down but it is not always possible. (I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the percentage of the fees taken by the payment system. I do not take a profit from the shipping cost.)
