WWI/1920s Bead Crochet Snake With Clamp Teeth

This rare and lovely bead crocheted snake is made with deep brown and amber colored glass beads. It has clamp teeth that bite its own tail to create a necklace or bracelet.
These originated from WWI prisoners of war crafting them for loved ones or for trading, then became popular after the war and into the 1930s.
It measures just over 19 inches head to tail and is in excellent condition. The crafter accidentally got some white paint on beads around the mouth when doing the teeth, as seen in the last photo. There is nothing else to report on this little beauty!

How long will it take for my package to arrive?
Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days. If for some reason the delay will be longer, you will be informed. Once it's on its way, it normally takes 3 to 15 business days to arrive, depending on your location.

How is the cost of shipping determined?
The price of shipping in France is determined by the weight and thickness of the package. The heavier it is, the more it costs. If the package is under 3 centimetres it can be considered a "letter" and will be cheaper, but if it's over 4 centimetres it will be considered a package and cost more. I do my very best to stay under 3 cm and keep your shipping cost down but it is not always possible. (I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the percentage of the fees taken by the payment system. I do not take a profit from the shipping cost.)
