Hailing from his Fall 1980 collection, this Yves Saint Laurent piece is absolutely luscious. It's a black velvet pleated jacket with the most glorious balloon sleeves and a silky tasseled rope to close at the ruffled collar. It features a large pocket on each side and is fully lined in a sumptuous black satin. This piece exudes a subtle and sophisticated opulence that is iconic to vintage Rive Gauche.
It's in beautiful condition. The velvet at the shoulders has a slight gleam to it but I can't tell if it's due to the seams or because of a purse strap. Regardless, it's not really noticeable but I prefer to mention it. (See photo 8.)
There's no size marked and except for the shoulders and armpit spacing, the sizing is fairly free. It will depend on your particular morphology. Please see the flat measurements below, compare them to a similar type of garment that fits you well, and please reach out if you have any questions!

How long will it take for my package to arrive?
Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days. If for some reason the delay will be longer, you will be informed. Once it's on its way, it normally takes 3 to 15 business days to arrive, depending on your location.
How is the cost of shipping determined?
The price of shipping in France is determined by the weight and thickness of the package. The heavier it is, the more it costs. If the package is under 3 centimetres it can be considered a "letter" and will be cheaper, but if it's over 4 centimetres it will be considered a package and cost more. I do my very best to stay under 3 cm and keep your shipping cost down but it is not always possible. (I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the percentage of the fees taken by the payment system. I do not take a profit from the shipping cost.)
